In 2017, Lyft launched a groundbreaking approach to charitable giving — Round Up and Donate. After completing their ride, passengers could opt to round up their fare up to the nearest dollar, donating the difference to a charity of their choice and then getting updates on their impact. To highlight the initiative, we partnered with The Atlantic to create a series of stories exploring how companies like Lyft are creating innovative approaches to giving.
