In recent years, Philips has begun working with a surprising partner to pioneer telehealth — the VA health-care system. To highlight this initiative, we worked with The Atlantic to tell the story of Tom Ward, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with ALS who uses technology to receive treatment and live his life on his own terms.
